{"id":1283,"date":"2003-10-12T12:26:07","date_gmt":"2003-10-12T12:26:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/houseofnehesipublish.com\/sxm\/?p=1283"},"modified":"2015-05-17T12:26:28","modified_gmt":"2015-05-17T12:26:28","slug":"national-symbols-packaging-upgraded-in-time-for-fcca-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/houseofnehesipublish.com\/sxm\/2003\/10\/12\/national-symbols-packaging-upgraded-in-time-for-fcca-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"National Symbols packaging upgraded in time for FCCA conference"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>GREAT BAY, St. Martin <\/strong>(October 12, 2003) \u2014 The image of the book\u00a0<em>National Symbols of St. Martin \u2013 A Primer<\/em>has just gotten a presentation boost, according to House of Nehesi Publishers.<\/p>\n<p>The hardcover book now fits snugly into its own case and slides out with ease to be looked at or read. \u201cWe\u2019ve decided to enhance the packaging of\u00a0<em>National Symbols<\/em> because of its continuing presentation as a special gift by such a range of instances and people, and practically as a VIP and promotional presentation by government and the Tourist Bureau respectively,\u201d said Jacqueline Sample, president of House of Nehesi.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe asked Angelo Rombley to design a high-end executive look for a case that could be manufactured at a cost we could afford,\u201d said Sample. Rombley\u2019s design contrasts the colorful cover of the book with the white case and the subtly of its embossed imagery.<\/p>\n<p>The first people, executives no less, who were presented with the encased copy of\u00a0<em>National Symbols<\/em> were those visiting St. Martin for the FCCA conference last week. Commissioner of Tourism Theo Heyliger ordered the copies of the books and the cases for the island\u2019s special guests.<\/p>\n<p>The new package is a white gloss 18pt. card stock case with the name of the book embossed on the front as a monogram and spelled out.<\/p>\n<p>Nearly seven years after the landmark book was first published here, House of Nehesi has printed this limited number of cases, which \u201cwill also protect the book from wear and tear. I know for sure that St. Martin collectors who cherish this book will try to get copies of the cases before they run out,\u201d said Sample.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe plan to offer the Lt. Governor\u2019s Office and the Tourist Bureau the earliest option to acquire copies of the cases for VIP presentation and high-end tourism promotion.\u201d The copies of the\u00a0<em>National Symbols\u2019<\/em> cases will be available at book parties and directly from House of Nehesi, and possibly in bookstores for purchase with the popular book about St. Martin\u2019s culture, historical personalities, and natural environment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GREAT BAY, St. Martin (October 12, 2003) \u2014 The image of the book\u00a0National Symbols of St. Martin \u2013 A Primerhas just gotten a presentation boost, according to House of Nehesi Publishers.
