St. Maarten is a territory of the Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p>The second agenda point identified in the May 9 letter from Parliament to the ISMF is, \u201cGetting the territory of St. Maarten on the United Nations Decolonization list,\u201d which is formally known as the List of Non-Self-Governing Territories.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting is open to the public<\/p>\n<p>Given the importance of the issues that will be discussed concerning the political future of St. Maarten, the Independence foundation is inviting the general public to attend the meeting, which starts at 11 a.m. at the House of Parliament, said Joseph H.
