{"id":521,"date":"2011-11-20T14:01:57","date_gmt":"2011-11-20T14:01:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/houseofnehesipublish.com\/sxm\/?p=521"},"modified":"2015-09-13T13:58:02","modified_gmt":"2015-09-13T13:58:02","slug":"yvettes-cookbook-selected-for-the-best-christmas-gift-international-list","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/houseofnehesipublish.com\/sxm\/2011\/11\/20\/yvettes-cookbook-selected-for-the-best-christmas-gift-international-list\/","title":{"rendered":"Yvette\u2019s cookbook selected for \u201cthe best Christmas gift\u201d international list."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"Apple-style-span\"><strong>GREAT BAY, St. Martin (November 20, 2011)<\/strong>\u2014<\/span>\u201cYOUR BOOK IS ON THE LIST\u201d is how Edouard Cointreau, president of Gourmand International, wrote in an email to HNP on Thursday, about his magazine\u2019s selection of Yvette\u2019s cookbook.<\/p>\n<p>The November edition of <span class=\"Apple-style-span\">Gourmand-Magazine <\/span>has listed <span class=\"Apple-style-span\">From Yvette\u2019s Kitchen To Your Table \u2013 A Treasury of St. Martin\u2019s Traditional &amp; Contemporary Cuisine<\/span> by Yvette Hyman, among \u201cthe best Christmas gift\u201d cookbooks for 2011.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis list of 112 new cookbooks and wine books 2011 in English has been established for <span class=\"Apple-style-span\">Gourmand-Magazine<\/span>, by the <span class=\"Apple-style-span\">Gourmand World Cookbook Awards<\/span>, which had 162 countries participating this year,\u201d stated the Cointreau release.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMore than one third of yearly cookbook sales take place in November and December,\u201d according to the president of the prestigious cuisine trade organization.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is an appetizing piece of news to receive between St. Martin Day and Thanksgiving Day (first Sunday of December),\u201d said Jacqueline Sample, president of House of Nehesi Publishers (HNP).<\/p>\n<p>Gourmand is also known for its annual <span class=\"Apple-style-span\">tours de force<\/span> of chefs, wine experts, cookbook publishers, cuisine and lifestyle media, and throngs of fans and foodies from around the world that flock to its wildly successful expos in Paris, London, and Frankfurt.<a href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/1Go9U0u0wbg\">http:\/\/youtu.be\/1Go9U0u0wbg<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe best Christmas gift is often a cookbook.
